چکیده

Nowadays, there is a large demand for nutrient-dense fruits to promote nutritional and metabolic human health. The production of commercial fruit crops becoming progressively input-dependent cope with the losses caused by biotic abiotic stresses. A wide variety underutilized crops, which are neither commercially cultivated nor traded on scale, mainly grown, commercialized consumed locally. These have many advantages in terms ease grow, hardiness resilience climate changes compared major grown crops. In addition, they exceptionally rich important phytochemicals medicinal value. Hence, their consumption may help meet needs rural populations, such as those living fragile arid semi-arid regions around world. local people well aware properties these Therefore, emphasis must be given rigorous study conservation characterization so that future food basket widened enhancing its functional values. this review, we described ethnobotany, values, biodiversity utilization strategies 19 climate-resilient important, (Indian jujube, Indian gooseberry, lasora, bael, kair, karonda, tamarind, wood apple, custard jamun, jharber, mahua, pilu, khejri, mulberry, chironji, manila timroo, khirni).

Trend analysis and detection of precipitation fluctuations in arid and semi-arid regions

The most important impacts of climate change relate to temperature and precipitation. Precipitation is particularly important, because changes in precipitation patterns may lead to floods or droughts in different areas. Also, precipitation is a major factor in agriculture and in recent years interest has increased in learning about precipitation variability for periods of months to annual and s...

Investigating the interaction between rivers and sand dunes in arid and semi-arid regions of Iran

Extended abstract 1- Introduction Fluvial and aeolian processes are important factors in changing the surface of morphology in the Earth. When rivers and sand dunes meet, the transportation of sediment  between them can lead to one of the systems or both  of them change. With their connection between river sediment and wind systems there would be lots of reactions, but very little has been st...

Statistical model of daily flow in arid and semi arid regions

Abstract Stochastic model for synthetic data generation is not available for daily flows of intermittent streams. Such a model is required in the planning and operation of structures on an intermittent stream for purposes where short time flow fluctuations are important. In this study a model is developed for such a case. The model consists of four steps: determination of the days on which fl...
